Welcome!

Welcome to my DIY tube audio blog!

I discovered electronic tubes in 2004 while searching for a guitar amplifier DIY project. I built a small amp, I thought it was cool, but I didn’t really understand how it worked.

After a while I wanted to build a high quality headphone amplifier, so I started reading everything I could find about tubes. I find them utterly fascinating.

I completed quite a few tube projects, learning a lot in the process. I want to share my experience, my failures and my successes with you.

  2. 6AS7G headphone amp.
    excellent amp.
    my practice – capacitor C1 should be a low ESR. solution – a lot of parallel-connected capacitors, for example 10uF * 10pcs. (100uF) or better 5uF*20pcs. (100uF).
+ min 5 uF MKP parallel required.
result – low output impedance over a wide frequency spectrum. Retrieved on Power follower Andrea Ciuffoli design. I recommend to you.
